Diesel motorcycles with high ground clearance under 500 million VND in Vietnam

The UAZ vehicle was primarily manufactured for military purposes, with a simple structure that was easy to repair and disassemble. UAZ vehicles have been present in Vietnam since the last century, and reappeared in October 2016. All UAZ models are imported as complete units from Russia.

Essentially, apart from the engine block, the details on the diesel UAZ are similar to the gasoline version currently sold in the Vietnamese market. The vehicle inherits its design from the UAZ 469 model of the 1970s, which can still occasionally be seen on the streets today.

Simple, round headlights that use halogen bulbs.

The UAZ Hunter has a boxy design. Its dimensions are 4,100 x 1,730 x 2,010 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,380 mm, ground clearance of 210 mm, and a wading depth of 500 mm. It uses disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The vehicle does not have an anti-lock braking system (ABS).

The rear of the vehicle features a boxy design with a spare tire mounted on the back and a horizontally opening tailgate. The rear taillight cluster has a large, cylindrical design and uses halogen bulbs.

The interior is at the most basic level. There's no entertainment system or airbag system. The windows are manually operated. The gauges are located next to the steering column, with a small electronic display showing the mileage. The power steering is hydraulic.

The controls are simple, with switches for the headlights, hazard lights, interior lights, etc. The outside air intake opens and closes on top of the hood, along with a cabin heating system that draws heat from the engine compartment. Air conditioning is not standard and can only be added if the buyer requests it.

However, the UAZ Hunter still retains the "spirit" of an off-road vehicle. The seats are upholstered in waterproof faux leather, and the floor has a quick-draining design. The rear seats can be folded down to increase cargo space.

The UAZ Hunter diesel version has a 2.2-liter engine, producing 114 horsepower and a top speed of 130 km/h. It features a 5-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, in mixed driving conditions, the vehicle consumes 9.5 liters of fuel per 100 km.

Diesel engines are only available on the Hunter soft-top and Hunter Classic versions. The gasoline version also includes the Hunter Trophy. The UAZ Hunter line primarily targets off-road enthusiasts and true UAZ lovers due to its limited equipment. The price is currently undecided. The importer has only given a figure below 500 million VND. Meanwhile, the gasoline versions, the Hunter soft-top and Hunter Classic, are priced at 390 million VND and 410 million VND respectively.
