(Baonghean.vn) - While descending a slope at high speed, a young man lost control of his motorbike and crashed into an oncoming car going uphill, causing the motorbike to break in half and the victim to suffer serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. on July 16th on National Highway 48B, specifically on the Truông Ách slope in Quỳnh Mỹ commune, Quỳnh Lưu district.
At that time, a young man (residing in Quynh Giang commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37U1 2098 from Cau Giat towards Thai Hoa. Upon reaching Km 16 + 900, he crashed into an oncoming car with license plate 37A 34383 (owned by a resident of Quynh Chau commune) that was going uphill.
The powerful collision sent the motorbike flying back to the side of the road, breaking the front part in half. The motorbike rider was rushed to the hospital with a broken leg and extremely critical injuries.
The car was badly damaged on the left side and was lying sideways in the middle of the road.
Immediately after the accident occurred, traffic police from Quynh Luu district arrived to handle the incident.
