Motorbike 'collision' with car, young man in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) - While going downhill at high speed, the young man lost control of his speed and drove his motorbike into an oncoming car going uphill, causing the motorbike to break in half and the victim to be seriously injured.

The accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. on July 16 on National Highway 48B, passing Truong Ach slope in Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district.

At the above time, a young man (residing in Quynh Giang commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37U1 2098 from Cau Giat to Thai Hoa. When reaching Km 16 + 900, he crashed into an oncoming car with license plate 37A 34383 (owner of the car from Quynh Chau commune) that was going uphill.

The strong collision caused the motorbike to bounce back and fly to the side of the road, breaking the front part in half. The motorbike driver was taken to the emergency room with a broken leg and extremely critical injuries.

The car was smashed on the left side and turned sideways in the middle of the road.

Immediately after the accident, traffic police of Quynh Luu district were present to handle the accident./.
