Motorcycle carrying five people crashes into median strip, four dead.
A motorcycle carrying more passengers than permitted suddenly lost control and crashed into the concrete median, killing four people and injuring one.
According to the police in Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province, at approximately 0:05 AM on August 25th, a serious traffic accident occurred on Thong Nhat Street in Tan Lap Ward, Thai Nguyen City, resulting in 4 deaths and 1 injury.

Through investigation, authorities initially determined that the motorcycle with license plate 17 B1-147.89, driven by Sam Van Thuan, born in 2001 and residing in La Mu hamlet, Truong Luong commune, Hoa An district, Cao Bang province, was traveling on Thong Nhat road in the direction of Hanoi - Thai Nguyen when it suddenly lost control and crashed into the concrete median strip.
The four people in the car were Trieu Cham Vang, born in 2001, residing in Dia Linh commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province; Ly Van Phuong, born in 2002, residing in Minh Khai commune, Thach An district, Cao Bang province; Trieu Thi Nga, born in 2004, residing in Hop Tien commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province; and Lo Thi Thap, born in 2002, residing in Nam Ban commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province.
As a result of the accident, Mr. Sam Van Thuan, Mr. Trieu Cham Vang, Mr. Ly Van Phuong, and Ms. Trieu Thi Nga died. Ms. Lo Thi Thap suffered a head injury and is currently receiving emergency treatment at Thai Nguyen Central General Hospital. The motorcycle with license plate 17 B1-147.89 was damaged.
All five victims were students at Thai Nguyen College of Commerce and Tourism.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated by the authorities.
After receiving information about the accident, the leaders of Thai Nguyen province visited, offered condolences, and provided support to the families of the victims.
