(Baonghean.vn) - While preparing to cross the road, a motorbike was run over by a truck coming from behind, causing two elderly people (one male, one female) to be trapped under the truck and suffer serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 2 PM on April 22nd, right at the traffic light intersection on National Highway 1A in Block 1, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district.
At that time, an elderly man (approximately 60 years old) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37L1 - 004.39, carrying an elderly woman as a passenger, and was stopped at a red light. As soon as the light turned green and the motorbike started moving, a truck with license plate 38N -1962 suddenly sped up from behind and ran over the motorbike.
The accident left both people on the motorbike seriously injured, with the elderly woman suffering a broken leg.
Following the accident, traffic police from Quynh Luu district arrived to handle the situation and take the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment.
