Motorcycle collides with tractor-trailer; one person dies at the scene.

(Baonghean.vn) – At approximately 12:00 PM on September 17th, a traffic accident occurred in Bai Xa village, Tam Quang commune (Tuong Duong district) between a motorbike and a tractor-trailer, resulting in the death of the motorbike driver at the scene.

Accordingly, the motorbike with license plate 37C1 – 063.64, driven by Mr. PHN (born in 1990), residing in Block 9, Con Cuong Town, carrying Mr. LTH (born in 1962), traveling in the direction of Hoa Binh - Vinh, collided with a tractor-trailer traveling in the opposite direction with license plate 37C – 197.38, driven by Mr. Thai Doan Mai (born in 1978), residing in Hoa Son - Do Luong.

Numerous pieces of the motorcycle were scattered at the scene.

The accident resulted in the immediate death of Mr. N. (the motorcyclist), while Mr. LTH sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving emergency treatment at the Southwest Nghe An General Hospital.

The incident occurred on a bend in the road in Bai Xa village, Tam Quang commune. Following the accident, authorities arrived promptly, cordoned off the scene, and began investigating the cause.

National Highway 7A was blocked for a long stretch at the time of the accident.

At the scene, the motorbike was severely damaged with many fragments of its bodywork, and a long stretch of Route 7A where the accident occurred was blocked. It is known that this section of road has seen numerous accidents.
