The 2016 Versys 1000 is 2,240 mm long, 895 mm wide, and 1,400 mm high, with a seat height of 840 mm.Positioned in the street-sport segment, the Versys 1000 does not come standard with the side panniers found on the adventure-tourer Versys 1000LT.
The dual headlights look quite aggressive, and the windshield is wide and tall enough.The windshield height is adjustable within a range of 60 mm. The front plastic cladding is fully functional.The rider's physique is well-defined. The comfortable seating position features low footrests and an adjustable seat height to suit a variety of riders.
The sturdy frame with a subframe can support a greater weight when a storage box is attached. The load capacity is 210 kg.The fuel tank has a capacity of 21 liters. The front and rear tire sizes are 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17, respectively.
The Versys 1000's engine is a 1,043cc parallel twin, developing greater torque at low and mid-range RPMs. The exhaust system also contributes to improved performance at high RPMs.
Key features include traction control, KTRC anti-slip system with 3 adjustable levels, and a fuel economy indicator light. The engine allows the driver to set two operating modes: maximum power (Full) and limited power (Low).
The Kawasaki Versys 1000 is equipped with a pair of front disc brakes.with a brake disc diameter of 310 mm. PTokico ABS disc brakes are fitted to both wheels.
