The project "Together with Vixito, let's renovate the school for the children"
Responding to the call from Nghe An province for socio-economic development and poverty reduction in the western region of Nghe An, especially in disadvantaged border areas, Vixito High-Tech Cement Joint Stock Company has implemented the "Together with Vixito, Renovate Schools for Children" project. Accordingly, the project has donated 70 tons of cement to Con Cuong district (worth over 100 million VND) for the construction of essential infrastructure projects.
Throughout the implementation of the "Together with Vixito, Renovate Schools for Children" Project, Nghe An Newspaper has collaborated and connected with businesses and various levels of government and local authorities to ensure the project's effectiveness.
Muong Qua High School is the first school in the project selected to receive cement support for the construction of essential facilities. Located in the border commune of Mon Son, Muong Qua High School serves the education of children from ethnic minority communities in the two communes of Luc Da and Mon Son. The school has 471 students, of whom nearly 50% are from impoverished households and nearly 95% are children of the Thai ethnic minority. Currently, Muong Qua High School is striving to achieve national standard school status (Phase 1) by the 2024-2025 school year.
However, due to difficult circumstances, the school's facilities are still lacking, with some items incomplete. Through the "Together with Vixito to Renovate the School for Children" project, the school has had the resources to invest in completing the access road to the school and the sports field. The completion of these items has provided further motivation for teachers and students to ensure the quality of teaching and learning.
Along with Muong Qua High School, the project also provided 20 tons of cement to the People's Committee of Mon Son commune. According to the plan, in the coming time, the company will implement many activities to support investment in construction for localities, especially targeting schools in difficult mountainous districts in Nghe An province.
