Xiaomi 18 Pro Series revealed specifications include a 200MP camera and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip.

Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of its flagship Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max series later this year. According to leaked information, the biggest highlight of this generation lies in the significantly upgraded camera system, especially the high-resolution periscope lens, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor.

According to leak expert Kartikey Singh, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max are expected to be equipped with a telephoto camera using a periscope lens with a resolution of up to 200MP. This is considered a significant leap forward compared to the 50MP sensor (1/1.95-inch size) on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.

Analysts predict Xiaomi may use either a 1/1.4-inch sensor (similar to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra) or a 1/1.56-inch ISOCELL HP5 sensor for this lens. Besides high resolution, macro photography capabilities are also improved, with a closest focusing distance of 15cm, allowing for the capture of fine details with exceptional sharpness.
