Xiaomi Tag launched: Ultra-slim tracking device that supports both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub.
Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi Tag, an item tracking accessory that works seamlessly on both Android and iOS ecosystems with a battery life of over a year.
After a long period of rumors, Xiaomi has officially entered the smart tracking device market with the launch of the Xiaomi Tag. This is a compact Bluetooth tracking device designed to help users find easily misplaced personal items such as keys, wallets, or luggage.
Minimalist design and superior portability.
Xiaomi's new smart tracking device impresses with its extremely compact physical size. Crafted from white plastic in a minimalist style, it weighs only about 10g and is 7.2mm thin. With these specifications, users can easily place the device in a wallet, handbag, or attach it to a keychain without feeling cumbersome.

Rare cross-platform compatibility
The biggest differentiating factor that allows Xiaomi Tag to compete with rivals like AirTag or SmartTag is its multi-ecosystem support. Instead of being limited to a single platform, Xiaomi Tag can work seamlessly with both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub. This allows users to locate items flexibly whether they are using an iPhone or Android device.

Connectivity technology and durability
Inside its plastic casing, Xiaomi has equipped the device with advanced Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and an NFC chip. The device uses a common CR2032 button cell battery, allowing for over a year of continuous operation before needing replacement. Additionally, the product meets IP67 standards, ensuring water and dust resistance for everyday use.

To optimize the search process, the Xiaomi Tag incorporates a buzzer with a volume loud enough to signal when activated from a phone. The device also supports a "Forgotten" alert feature, automatically sending notifications to the smartphone when the user moves away from the tagged item.

The Lost and Found mode feature
In the event that an item is actually lost, users can activate "Lost Mode". Then, if another device in the Find My or Find Hub network detects the Xiaomi Tag's signal, the owner's contact information will be displayed via a pop-up window, increasing the chances of recovering the item.
In the Malaysian market, the Xiaomi Tag is available in a single white color. The retail price for one tag is RM 79 (approximately VND 530,000). Additionally, the company offers a combo pack of four tags for RM 299 (approximately VND 2 million). With its competitive pricing strategy and multi-platform support, the Xiaomi Tag promises to be an attractive option in the mainstream tracking device segment.
