(Baonghean.vn) - 29 years ago, in July 1993, journalist and poet Tran Van Hien, when visiting the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, could not help but feel pain when standing before the rows of white tombstones with the words "Unknown Martyr". In sympathy with the pain of the martyrs' families, the poet wrote 6 consecutive stanzas of the poem "Please don't call me an unknown martyr". The poem touched the hearts of many people, thereby reminding today's and future generations to always cherish the past, to cherish the noble sacrifices of generations of predecessors for today's beautiful life.
