Paul Pogba reunites with MU
MU has officially shelved the intention of re-recruiting Paul Pogba after the deal failed to come to fruition.

Instead, the team under coach Ruben Amorim is turning its focus to another star who is also playing in Serie A.
Pogba is currently a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired. Although there has been speculation about a return to Old Trafford, the 32-year-old midfielder's most likely destination now lies across the Atlantic.
According to The Athletic, DC United – a club that plays in the US Major League Soccer (MLS) – are showing serious interest in Pogba. The team currently holds “discovery rights” to Pogba in MLS, meaning they have priority in negotiations if he decides to move to the US.
DC United sources also confirmed that preliminary discussions have been held between the two sides. Pogba's regular appearances in the stands at MLS matches since September 2023 have further reinforced the possibility that he will seek a new challenge in the United States.
DC United has yet to make any official comments on the deal. According to MLS regulations, the Discovery List mechanism allows clubs to pre-register the right to negotiate with free players, in order to avoid competition from financially stronger teams in the same league.
Although he cannot return to Manchester United, Pogba may start a new chapter in his career in the US in the near future.
