Authorities apprehended 23 reckless motorcyclists for reckless driving and wheelies.
The Nam Dinh City Police (Nam Dinh province) are investigating and handling cases involving 23 teenagers who gathered and rode motorcycles recklessly, weaving in and out of traffic, and performing wheelies on several streets.
On the evening of August 30th, the Nam Dinh Provincial Police announced that the Criminal Investigation Team of Nam Dinh City Police is investigating the actions of 23 teenagers (aged 14 to 18) who gathered and rode motorcycles recklessly, swerving, and performing wheelies on several streets.
Accordingly, on the evening of July 9th, 23 teenagers gathered and rode motorcycles at high speed, carrying three people and without helmets, from Nam Truc district to Nam Dinh city.
Upon reaching the Vy Xuyen Lake area (Nam Dinh City), the group continued to drive at high speed, honking loudly, swerving and weaving dangerously, posing a threat to other road users.

Afterward, the group continued to set off firecrackers and drive at high speed in a convoy, causing disturbances on many streets. Some teenagers even cut in front of cars and motorbikes, disregarding the presence of many vehicles in traffic.
Recognizing the dangerous situation, the Criminal Police Team of Nam Dinh City Police quickly investigated and arrested this group of teenagers. The group's actions, which disrupted public order and traffic safety, caused outrage in the community.
By August 28th, the Investigation Police Department of Nam Dinh City Police had issued a decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute 20 individuals involved in disturbing public order.
