Addressing the hotspot of sidewalk encroachment on Ho Tong Thoc Street, next to Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.

Over the past two days, the Public Order Police Team of the Administrative Management and Social Order Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police has launched an operation to address the encroachment on sidewalks in the Ho Tong Thoc street area, next to the Nghe An Friendship General Hospital. This is one of the hotspots for sidewalk occupation for trading, placing advertising signs, causing urban blight and obstructing traffic.

During the inspection, authorities removed numerous infringing items. On July 10th alone, they confiscated 10 advertising signs, 5 sun umbrellas, 2 sets of plastic tables and chairs, 3 fans, 1 shopping cart, and many other items and goods. Simultaneously, the team organized for the businesses in the area to sign commitments not to repeat the offense.

According to a representative of the Public Order Police Team, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Nghe An Provincial Police, after the campaign to handle urban order violations, the unit handed over the area to the Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee for continued management, aiming to maintain traffic order and safety, and create favorable conditions for people's travel. In addition, the authorities will regularly coordinate inspections, monitoring, and updating the situation to promptly detect and handle violations, preventing the recurrence of sidewalk encroachment.
