Two ambulance drivers were fined for using emergency signals improperly.
The Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) has just issued citations to two ambulance drivers for failing to comply with regulations when using priority signaling devices.

Specifically, at approximately 4:30 PM on February 13th, while patrolling at Km 2+600 on National Highway 46B, Team 5 of the Road Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police discovered an ambulance with license plate 37B-032.75 showing signs of violating traffic regulations, so they signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection.
At the time of the inspection, the ambulance's emergency signaling device was activated, but there was no one inside. The ambulance driver also could not prove that he was using the emergency signaling device while on duty.
Recognizing that the driver's use of the emergency signaling device in this case was against regulations, the Road Traffic Police Team No. 5, Nghe An Provincial Police Department, issued a report and imposed an administrative fine on the ambulance driver for this violation; at the same time, the driver's license was temporarily confiscated as per regulations.
Reportedly, the ambulance was driven by TVP (born in 1991), residing in Muong Ngoc commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province.
Earlier, at 1:15 PM on the same day, DThe Road Traffic Police Unit No. 1, Traffic Police Department, also inspected the ambulance with license plate 37B-026.05 driven by driver PHN (born in 1963), residing in Thai Hoa town, Nghe An province.

During the inspection, it was discovered that the driver's license for using the priority signaling device had expired. The task force proceeded to draw up a report and temporarily confiscate the driver's license of the driver at fault.
According to current regulations, violations related to failure to comply with regulations when using priority signaling devices will be subject to fines ranging from 2 to 3 million VND.
