Administrative penalties imposed on those organizing illegal football tournaments.
On the morning of November 10th, the Internal Political Security Department of the Quang Nam Provincial Police announced that it had issued an administrative penalty decision against LVQ (residing in Duy Nghia commune, Duy Xuyen district) with a fine of 9 million VND for organizing a mass football tournament (amateur football tournament) without reporting in writing to the competent state management agency and for disseminating and sharing information about prohibited goods and services.
As a result of the investigation, Mr. Q admitted to organizing the 2nd S7 Central Region Football Championship - Demnaylive Cup 2024 at Thuy Loi Stadium - Hoi An, with the participation of 8 teams (including A65 Truong Hung FC, AE GFDI SH FC, Billiards MTV FC, Cong Trinh FC, Duy Thu - Tan A Dai Thanh FC, Quang Cao Tran Gia FC, Qualia De Hotel FC - Hieu Hoa DN, Tram Huong Vuong Nguyen FC) but failed to report in writing to the competent State agency, which violates regulations on organizing mass sports competitions.
Specifically, this behavior violates Point c, Clause 2, Article 14 of Decree 46/2019/ND-CP dated May 27, 2019, which stipulates administrative penalties for violations in the field of sports.
Furthermore, Mr. Q also advertised the website Demnaylive (which is not licensed to operate in Vietnam and provides football betting services) on the Fanpage "Truyền lửa bóng đá" (Football Passion), which constitutes the act of disseminating and sharing information about prohibited goods and services, violating Point e, Clause 1, Article 101 of Government Decree No. 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020, on administrative sanctions in the fields of postal services, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology, and electronic transactions, effective from April 15, 2020, as amended and supplemented by Government Decree No. 14/2022/ND-CP dated January 27, 2022, amending and supplementing some articles of Government Decree No. 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020, on administrative sanctions. in the fields of postal services, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology, and electronic transactions.
At the police station, Q admitted to his illegal actions.
Through this, the Internal Political Security Department advises all citizens to strictly comply with the provisions of the law when organizing mass football tournaments and conducting propaganda and advertising on social media.
