Man fined for illegally using electric shock to catch fish
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 15, Tam Quang Border Guard Station completed the administrative fine of 1 million VND for the man who used electric shock to illegally catch fish.

While strengthening patrols and controlling the area, at around 8:00 a.m. on April 13, at Khe Da intersection in the border area managed by Tam Quang Border Guard Station, Tuong Duong district, officers and soldiers discovered Lo Van Thu (born in 1985), currently residing in Tung Huong village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district, using electric shock to illegally catch fish. The seized evidence included 01 12V battery, 01 homemade electric shock set.
Tam Quang Border Guard Station has completed the case file for processing according to the provisions of law.
This is the third consecutive case within a week that Tam Quang Border Guard Station has discovered and handled the act of using electric shock to illegally catch seafood in the area./.
