Man fined for using electric shock devices to catch fish illegally.
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 15th, Tam Quang Border Guard Station completed the administrative penalty file of 1 million VND against a man for illegally using electric shock devices to catch fish.

During a patrol of the area, at approximately 8:00 AM on April 13th, at the Khe Da intersection in the border area managed by the Tam Quang Border Guard Post, Tuong Duong district, officers and soldiers discovered Lo Van Thu (born in 1985), currently residing in Tung Huong village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district, engaging in the illegal use of electric shock devices for fishing. The seized items included one 12V battery and one homemade electric shock device.
The Tam Quang Border Guard Station has completed the necessary paperwork for processing the case in accordance with the law.
This is the third consecutive incident in a week in which the Tam Quang Border Guard Station has detected and dealt with the illegal use of electric shock devices for fishing in the area.
