The foundation for setting the goal of ushering the country into a new era lies in the great achievements the nation has attained after 40 years of reform under the leadership of the Party. From this, General Secretary To Lam delivered messages that served as a rallying cry, urging action and innovation throughout the Party and the people, determined to create breakthroughs in development, accelerating progress to "catch up with, keep pace with, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the world."
Amidst the general momentum of the nation and its people, and proud of its cultural and revolutionary traditions, as the homeland of the great President Ho Chi Minh, Nghe An province has also defined a new mindset for action, as Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, stated: With the aspiration to rise, unwavering will, and spirit of unity and striving, Nghe An province aims to become a regional center in the North Central region in several fields; making responsible and positive contributions to the era of national development, prosperity, and civilization... In the immediate future, looking towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Nghe An will lead and direct the implementation, determined to accelerate and make breakthroughs to achieve the highest possible level of the goals and targets set forth in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress...
