Touching Art Program "Sacred Memories"
(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam - Laos Combat Alliance, on the evening of January 21, at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Voice of Vietnam, VTC Digital Television, Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association and Nghe An Provincial People's Committee jointly organized the special art program "Sacred Memories".
Attending the Program, on the Central side, there were comrades: Tong Thi Phong - Politburo member, Permanent Vice President of the National Assembly; Nguyen Van Tuy - Party Central Committee member, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Nguyen Thuy Anh - Party Central Committee member, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Committee for Social Affairs; Nguyen Thanh Hai - Party Central Committee member, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the People's Aspirations Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Le Thi Nga - Party Central Committee member, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee; Nguyen Phuong Nga - Secretary of the Party Delegation, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Associations; Cao Thi Xuan - Vice President of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Nguyen Thi Ha - Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level departments and branches; leaders of Anh Son district and a large number of local people.

Speaking at the opening of the Program, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong expressed her emotion at returning to the Vietnam - Laos International Cemetery, where there are more than 10,000 graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who heroically fought and sacrificed for the noble international friendship on the battlefields in Laos.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said that organizing the program "Sacred Memories" is a profound and humane action towards the founding day of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam - Laos Combat Alliance;

The program was held in the cemetery space in Anh Son on the occasion of preparing to welcome the New Year, which is a testament to the deep friendship between Vietnam and Laos. Through this event, we express our deep gratitude to the great sacrifices of heroes, martyrs, families with meritorious services to the country, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers - those who have devoted their loved ones to the revolutionary cause of the two countries of Vietnam and Laos.

The art program “Sacred Memories” was written and directed by writer Nguyen Quang Vinh, with participating art units: Army Drama Theater, Hue Opera and Art Theater, Military Region 4 Art Troupe and a number of military units, youth unions, and students in Anh Son district.

The program's content aims to praise the close-knit and close-knit sentiment of the Vietnam - Laos Combat Alliance as well as the sentiment of the people of the two brotherly countries. It focuses on portraying the beauty of the image of the soldier who did not care about blood and bones and was ready to sacrifice for the cause of protecting the Fatherland and the noble international duty. At the same time, it deepens the beauty of humanity, comradeship and shows gratitude to those who fell for independence and freedom.
The program is a song about the desire for peace, the pain of loss, the love and great gratitude of today's generation to the previous generation.
