Engineer Bui Cong Nguyen, who regularly celebrates Tet (Lunar New Year) at the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant, shared: "Although we have to celebrate Tet away from our families, we've gotten used to it over time. Our job is to operate the equipment safely and generate electricity to the grid to ensure sufficient capacity. Completing our assigned tasks is also the happiest way to celebrate Tet."

Engineer Pham Van Dan said: "To ensure the equipment operates safely, it's perfectly normal for the workers to be on duty throughout Tet. At the factory, the workers have also prepared everything from kumquats and peach blossoms to banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes). Some even brought their wives and children to celebrate Tet together, so it's a joyful occasion."

At the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant, in addition to arranging and scheduling Tet holiday duty rosters, the unit regularly urges and reminds staff to perform their shift duties, incident response duties, security duties, and especially fire prevention and control tasks well. At the same time, they strengthen inspections of operational discipline and safety before and during Tet.

The company also ensures that personnel, vehicles, equipment, spare parts, and tools are readily available to handle any incidents on the power grid as quickly as possible. It maintains a high level of monitoring of power grid operations and promptly reports any abnormalities on the grid. It ensures that all communication channels are functioning smoothly so that company leaders can regularly monitor the system situation...

Mr. Ta Huu Hung, Director of Ban Ve Hydropower Company, said: To ensure safe and stable operation of equipment, the unit has conducted inspections and reviews, promptly addressing any defects to ensure reliable operation of the generating units. In addition to assigning duty schedules during Tet (Lunar New Year) and ensuring regular shifts, the company has also assigned additional unit leaders to be on duty 24/7 during the Tet holidays.
