Primary healthcare in response to new demands.

Along with the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, the Nghe An Health Department is submitting a plan to the Provincial People's Committee to reorganize and consolidate the grassroots healthcare system, including commune health stations and former district-level health centers. While awaiting approval of the plan, primary healthcare services at these health stations will continue. However, the pressure on the grassroots healthcare system is increasing, as from 2026 onwards, annual health check-ups for residents at the commune level will be gradually implemented.
