Yen Bai has a new head of the Forest Protection Department.

Accordingly, Mr. Mai Mong Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Yen Bai province, will assume the position of Head of the Forest Protection Sub-Department. He will be served as the Deputy Head of the Sub-Department.

On the morning of September 12th, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee appointing Mr. Mai Mong Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department, as the Head of the Forest Protection Sub-Department from September 7th, along with three Deputy Heads of the Sub-Department.

According to Joint Circular 14/2015/TTLT-BNNPTNT-BNV dated March 25, 2015, Clause d, Article 3 stipulates: "The Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall not concurrently hold the position of Head of the Sub-Department. If concurrent holding is necessary, the duration shall not exceed 12 months." However, according to the aforementioned Decision, Mr. Tuan holds this position without a specified end date.

In his new role at the Sub-Department, Mr. Tuan will inherit the unfinished work from his predecessor, Do Cuong Minh.
