Bridge to joy

Since the military-civilian bridge, which is more than 15m long, 2m wide, and has a load capacity of 2 tons, and a total value of nearly 335 million VND, was handed over and put into use in mid-2024, people in Cha Lo village (Mai Son commune, Tuong Duong district) no longer have to worry about safety when wading through streams and creeks during floods.

Mr. Vi Van Sen - Head of Cha Lo village excitedly said: “Previously, villagers had to wade across the stream to go to the commune center, which was potentially dangerous, especially during the rainy season. So when the new bridge was built, the villagers were happy and very grateful to the border guards and benefactors...".
