Yen Thanh district raises the epidemic level to level 4 in Cong Thanh commune.

The Covid-19 pandemic is developing in a complex manner in the district.Yen ThanhIn recent days, the number of positive cases has been increasing. Three outbreaks have been identified in the communes of My Thanh, Cong Thanh, and Nam Thanh.

Information from the District's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center shows that from October 7th to the morning of December 3rd, there were 207 positive cases of Covid-19, including 31 community cases in the communes of Nam Thanh, Ly Thanh, Nhan Thanh, Cong Thanh, and My Thanh. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the district has reached 406.

Regarding the level of the epidemic, on the morning of December 3rd, the District People's Committee issued a notice to implement level 4 for Cong Thanh commune. Thus, currently in the district, 36 out of 39 communes are at level 1; 2 out of 39 communes are at level 2, and 1 out of 39 communes is at level 4; 322 out of 338 hamlets are at level 1; 4 hamlets are at level 2; and 12 hamlets are at level 4.

Mr. Phan Van Tuyen, Chairman of the Yen Thanh District People's Committee, added that given the complex developments of the epidemic, especially in Cong Thanh commune where the disease has spread to schools, and the number of positive cases is expected to increase in the coming time, the district will activate the mobile health station to receive asymptomatic patients with a capacity of nearly 100 beds, and organize centralized isolation (F1) at home.

In Cong Thanh commune, disease prevention and control measures are being implemented comprehensively. Mr. Nguyen Van Nham, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cong Thanh commune, said: The situation...Covid-19 pandemicThe situation in the commune has been very complicated in recent days. As of the morning of December 3, 2021, there were 15 positive cases of the disease in the commune, including 13 students from the Secondary School.

Along with intensified propaganda efforts, the commune coordinated with health agencies to collect samples for testing from students and residents; functional forces actively traced F1 and F2 contacts for isolation according to regulations. Simultaneously, disinfection spraying was organized at outbreak sites.
