Yen Thanh raises the epidemic level to level 4 in Cong Thanh commune

Covid-19 epidemic is complicated in the districtYen ThanhIn recent days, the number of positive cases has been increasing. Of which, 3 outbreaks have been identified in the communes of My Thanh, Cong Thanh and Nam Thanh.

Information from the District Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center shows that from October 7 to the morning of December 3, there were 207 positive cases of Covid-19, including 31 community cases in the communes: Nam Thanh, Ly Thanh, Nhan Thanh, Cong Thanh, My Thanh. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the district is 406.

Regarding the epidemic level, on the morning of December 3, the District People's Committee announced the implementation of level 4 for Cong Thanh commune. Thus, currently in the district, there are 36/39 communes at level 1; 2/39 communes at level 2, 1/39 commune at level 4; 322/338 hamlets at level 1; 4 hamlets at level 2; 12 hamlets at level 4.

Mr. Phan Van Tuyen - Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee added that, given the complicated developments of the epidemic, especially in Cong Thanh commune where the epidemic has spread to schools, the number of positive cases will increase in the coming time, so the district will activate the Mobile Medical Station to admit mild asymptomatic patients with a scale of nearly 100 beds, and organize centralized isolation (F1) at home.

In Cong Thanh commune, epidemic prevention solutions are being implemented synchronously. Mr. Nguyen Van Nham - Vice Chairman of Cong Thanh Commune People's Committee said: The situationCovid-19 epidemicThe situation in the commune has been very complicated in recent days. As of the morning of December 3, 2021, there were 15 positive cases of the epidemic in the commune, of which 13 were students of the Secondary School.

Along with promoting propaganda, the commune coordinated with health agencies to take samples for testing for students and residents; functional forces actively traced F1 and F2 to isolate according to regulations. At the same time, organized disinfection spraying at epidemic sites.

"Immediately after the appearance of positive cases of Covid-19 at the Secondary School, on December 2, the professional agency tookspecimenfor 1,148 cases, of which 798 samples are teachers and students of the school. At the same time, the commune arranged 2 centralized quarantine points at 2 kindergarten clusters to quarantine hundreds of F1s," said Mr. Nguyen Van Nham.
