Yen Thanh collects 226 billion VND from land auction

This year, the target was 180 billion VND, but in the first 9 months of the year, Yen Thanh has achieved 226 billion VND from land auctions (exceeding the target by 49 billion VND). Notably, this year, auction winners pay land money directly into the state budget through accounts at the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development or commercial banks, not through the temporary account of the District Finance Department as in previous years, thanks to which the land money collection progress is faster.

It is known that the excitement of the real estate market in Yen Thanh can be explained by the fact that people's living standards are getting better and better, children who work abroad send money back to buy land quite a lot. On convenient commune roads, people have more demand to buy for commercial services business.

Mr. Thai Huu An - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Yen Thanh district added: To limit land brokers, the district has proposed solutions such as setting starting land prices close to market prices and disseminating to people about the law on not "cooperating" with land brokers.

The district also established a district monitoring team to closely monitor the auctions to promptly correct and handle violations, and mobilize security forces to protect before, during and after land auctions.

Nam Dan district is allowed to use 100% of land auction money.
