(Baonghean.vn) -On September 26th, the police in Yen Thanh district, in coordination with communes and towns, organized the recovery of weapons, explosives, and supporting tools voluntarily surrendered by the people.

The district police force, in coordination with the commune police, inspected the confiscated weapons.

After nearly a month of campaigning and encouraging people to surrender weapons and explosives, the Yen Thanh District Police recovered 27 knives and swords, 52 electric shock devices, 7 fishing nets, 15 BB guns, 9 batons and sticks, 8 kg of plastic bullets, 1.7 kg of explosive powder, 2 detonators, 300 m of telephone wire, and a number of flashlights and electric batons.

Some communes that have done well in this activity include Hop Thanh, Tho Thanh, My Thanh, Hong Thanh, Duc Thanh, and Trung Thanh.
