To ensure students' school schedules were maintained, the Yen Thanh Health Department coordinated with schools to organize vaccinations directly at the schools. Simultaneously, over 120 medical staff, including doctors and nurses, were mobilized to conduct health screenings before vaccination and to prevent post-vaccination shock.

According to the plan, Yen Thanh district will organize two vaccination campaigns for over 6,000 11th and 12th grade students in high schools and vocational colleges specializing in agriculture and industry. The first campaign will be held on April 4th and 5th for students in schools in the southern part of the district. The second campaign will take place on April 12th and 13th for students in schools in the northern part of Yen Thanh.

This measles-rubella vaccination campaign follows two previous campaigns targeting children aged 1-14, aiming to reduce the incidence and burden of congenital rubella syndrome, contributing to the goal of eliminating measles and rubella in the community.
