Tens of thousands of tourists flocked to Yen Tu scenic area (Quang Ninh province) on the 6th day of the Lunar New Year of the Horse, causing localized congestion on the access roads and the cable car system.

On February 22nd (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year of the Horse), crowds of people from all over flocked to the Yen Tu historical and scenic site (Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province) to perform rituals of worship and enjoy the scenery at the beginning of spring. The cable car system is operating at full capacity.

To meet the needs of pilgrims and shorten travel time, many locals and tourists chose to take the cable car instead of climbing on foot. As a result, all four cable car lines across two routes had to operate at full capacity from early morning. At the station area, tourists had to queue in long lines to wait for their turn to ride.
