Request to recall 2 batches of substandard functional foods
The Food Safety Department has requested to temporarily stop circulation and recall 2 batches of substandard products.
The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) has just requested the recall of two batches of substandard functional foods from the French USA Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company Ltd., located at Building 24T, No. 1 Nguyen Huy Tuong, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.

Previously, on April 28, the Food Safety Department's inspection team inspected the French USA Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company and took 3 samples of functional foods for testing. As a result, 2 samples did not meet the quality standards, including Amkazym functional food, batch number: 770615, produced on June 29, 2015 and Men TH Biotyl functional food, batch number: 280714, produced on July 18, 2014.
The Food Safety Department has requested the Company to temporarily suspend circulation and recall the two batches of the above mentioned products. At the same time, it has requested the Health Departments of provinces and cities to monitor the circulation in the area. If violations are detected, they must be handled according to regulations.
The inspection team of the Food Safety Department also requested the French USA Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company to temporarily suspend the circulation, recall and take corrective measures for 4 other batches of functional foods with incorrect labeling. The Department then proceeded to take samples of other batches and other types of products of this Company for further verification./.
