Yonhap: Guards at Kim Jong-un's villa defect.
South Korean news agency Yonhap quoted a pastor as saying that a North Korean soldier trained to guard one of leader Kim Jong-un's villas had defected from the country.

YonhapToday, July 5th, citing Pastor Peter Jung, head of the civil society organization "Justice for North Korea," it was reported that a guard at the villa of leader Kim Jong-un recently defected from the country.
"A guard trained to watch over Kim Jong-un's villa in the border city of Sinuiju, North Pyongan province, crossed the Amnok River to defect around June 10," the pastor told Yonhap by phone.
According to the pastor, the guard defected on his 25th day of training after joining the unit guarding the North Korean leader's villa. He is believed to be safe in a house in China awaiting transport to South Korea, Pastor Peter Jung said.
"He decided to defect after being exposed to Korean culture before joining the army," the pastor said.
