1,000 union members and youths participate in 'Supporting exam season' for the 2020 High School Graduation Exam

From August 8 to 10, at 61 high school graduation exam sites in the province, the "Supporting the Exam Season" volunteer youth team was deployed to support and help candidates and cheer, encourage, and create a comfortable spirit for candidates and their families throughout the exam process. Before the exam, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed the districts, towns, and city youth unions to organize and establish "Supporting the Exam Season" volunteer youth teams at 100% of the exam sites.

During the exam period, the volunteer team will be reinforced in areas with high security, order, traffic safety, guidance, and traffic flow to ensure traffic safety at the 2020 High School Exam sites and high traffic density areas surrounding the exam sites. At the exam sites, the youth union will also organize the safekeeping of belongings, and provide free water and milk...

At the same time, the union members and youths coordinated with relevant units to implement Covid-19 prevention and control measures such as placing disinfectants in front of exam rooms and distributing masks to candidates and their families. In addition, the youth volunteers also actively supported the installation and use of the Bluezone application - an application that detects close contact to support Covid-19 prevention and control, for relatives and parents of students outside the exam area.

To promptly encourage the spirit of volunteer teams, on the morning of August 9, on behalf of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union visited and encouraged a number of "Exam Support" teams at exam sites in Vinh city and Hung Nguyen district.

At the "Exam Support" points, comrade Le Van Luong inspected the candidate support work, and reminded the union members and youth to actively promote and support parents waiting for their children outside the exam rooms to install the Bluezone application. On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union presented 03 gifts to 03 youth teams volunteering at the exam sites.
