1,500 job opportunities at the Western Nghe An Job Fair

On the morning of October 10, at Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Secondary School (Bong Khe Commune - Con Cuong), the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, the Nghe An Provincial Employment Service Center in coordination with the People's Committee of Con Cuong district organized the 2019 Western Nghe An Job Fair and Labor Export.

The fair has the participation of 15 booths of units and enterprises inside and outside the province to trade with 1,500 domestic job positions and 4,000 positions to work in the markets of Japan, Taiwan, Bulgaria, the Middle East ... introduced for recruitment. Recruiting students to learn skills, foreign languages, vocational training, and study abroad in Japan, Korea; implementing unemployment insurance policies, preferential loan policies for workers ... This is an opportunity to help workers choose and find jobs suitable for their training profession.

Con Cuong district has a population of over 74,000 people, the number of people of working age is over 40,000 people, accounting for 55% of the total population, the rate of trained workers is 26.3%. From 2017 to 2018, the whole district had only over 4,000 people working outside the province, the proportion of exported workers is relatively low. According to the survey, the demand for jobs is over 5,000 people every year. However, this force has limited access to job information, is not proactive, timely, and is concentrated in remote communes, remote areas, and areas with special difficulties. Therefore, solving employment for rural workers is a major policy, with profound humanitarian significance and receives the attention of the whole society.

The fair provides useful information about labor and employment, helping workers better understand the rights and obligations of the parties in the work process; and accommodation conditions for workers. From there, it helps workers, especially union members and young people, have specific career orientations, meeting the development requirements of businesses in the integration period.

The fair attracted a large number of workers and grade 12 students in the area to attend and directly interact with employers. Most of the industries that need workers are electronics assembly, fiber, textile, garment, etc. Also at the opening ceremony, the leaders of the Con Cuong District People's Committee signed a cooperation agreement between the district and businesses and units that need to recruit workers.
