Specifically, Mr. Lau Chia Mua, born in 1968, in Pieng Vai village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district, while repairing a flintlock gun at home, accidentally fired the gun, causing the bullet to explode, killing Mr. Mua on the spot. This serious incident originated from the fact that local people still have the habit of storing and using homemade guns.

It is known that in recent times, in order to prevent the danger of homemade guns, My Ly Border Guard Station has actively coordinated with local authorities and departments to propagate and mobilize the collection of hundreds of flintlock guns from the people.
