Over the past weekend, "Maleficent" crossed the $500 million mark in worldwide box office revenue. With this massive success, it is Angelina Jolie's most commercially successful film to date.

Previously, the actress created a box office sensation with the film "Mr & Mrs. Smith" in 2005, grossing a total of $478.2 million (nearly 10.2 trillion VND).

"Maleficent" is a project that Disney has been nurturing for a long time, not just for the film itself, but also for Angelina Jolie. Therefore, even though it's been almost a month since its release, the film remains in the top 5 highest-grossing films in North America. Last week, "Maleficent" continued to rake in over $13 million, bringing its total revenue in the North American market to $186 million.

The film was not only a success in the US market, but also stormed the box offices in many countries around the world. In China, it grossed over $20.3 million; Mexico ($40.4 million); the UK ($25.7 million)... The film's total global revenue to date is over $521.6 million.
