The 10 recommendations below are considered simple, easy to implement and effective in improving eyesight as proposed by PBA.
Say no to fat and sweetsFoods high in fat such as burgers, fast food, french fries as well as sweets and foods rich in fat, sugar, especially omega-6 fatty acids are considered to be the culprits in increasing age-related macular degeneration (ARMD).
Boost your berry intake
Blueberries in particular are rich in antioxidants. A cup of yogurt with berries in the morning can reduce the risk of ARMD.
Red onion
Red onions help brighten eyes.
Instead of using yellow onions, use red onions when cooking. Because red onions contain very high levels of quercetin, an antioxidant that protects the eyes and reduces the risk of cataracts.
Take a multivitamin daily
According to many studies, women who supplement vitamin C for 10 years or more will reduce the risk of cataracts by up to 77%. You should supplement multivitamins and consider them an indispensable menu in your daily diet. The lowest dose is 150mg of vitamin C.
Do not let the air conditioner shine directly into your eyes.When driving, sitting in the car or in the room, do not let the air flow from the air conditioner blow directly into the eyes.
