1. Many practical activities focus on bringing the Resolution of trade union congresses at all levels into life.

Immediately after the successful congresses of trade unions at all levels, the Provincial Federation of Labor developed and issued 9 programs and plans to implement the resolutions of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union and the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union. Directing union members to actively participate in the online contest "Learning about the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress and the actions of union members and workers", the result was ranked 3rd nationwide (phase 1); won third prize nationwide in the Video Clip contest (phase 2). Trade unions at all levels in the province closely followed the direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor to develop implementation plans; organized propaganda and dissemination to union members and workers; organized more than 120 inspections and supervisions of the implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels.

In Workers' Month 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province spent nearly 2.5 billion VND to organize activities to visit and give gifts to more than 5,600 workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances, those who had work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and workers who are renting accommodation. Supported the construction of "Union Kitchens", the construction and repair of Trade Union Shelters, organized "Union Meals"; organized 105 programs and activities for union members' welfare with 25,000 union members and workers benefiting. On the occasion of Workers' Month, commemorating the 134th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a ceremony to honor 95 "Nghe An workers following Uncle Ho's words" - exemplary workers who are directly working at enterprises and public service units in Nghe An province, with outstanding achievements in emulation movements and trade union activities, and many highly applicable initiatives that have brought tens of billions of dong in benefits to the enterprises and units where they work.

In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a ceremony for 95 outstanding grassroots trade union officials to report their achievements in Thai Binh province, the hometown of comrade Nguyen Duc Canh, the first President of the Red Trade Union, the predecessor of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and organized a commendation program in Hai Phong city. The outstanding trade union officials are enthusiastic people, always devoted to the movement, creative, good advisors, with many initiatives, contributing to trade union activities. On this occasion, many trade unions directly at the grassroots level such as the Education Trade Union, the Labor Federations of Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai, Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa, Do Luong, Yen Thanh districts, Vinh city... organized a commendation ceremony for outstanding workers and trade union officials.

4. Exceeding work targetsunion members to establish grassroots unions

In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on implementing many solutions to strengthen the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions such as: Organizing seminars, allocating specific targets, organizing a peak period of "Developing union members, establishing grassroots unions" ... As of November 30, 2024, 87 new grassroots unions were established, 23,708 new union members were admitted; the number of union members increased compared to the beginning of the year by 18,330 union members (reaching 129.33%); During the year, 3 new grassroots fishing unions were established, reaching 100% of the plan, the number of union members admitted in the informal sector reached 250.5% of the plan. With great efforts and determination, the Provincial Federation of Labor was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for outstanding achievements in developing union members.

5. Successfully organized 2 voter contact conferences betweenWorkerswithNational Assembly Delegate

On the eve of the 7th and 8th Conferences of the 15th National Assembly, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated to organize 02 Conferences to meet with voters who are workers and laborers. At the conferences, workers and laborers expressed their thoughts, aspirations, proposals and recommendations to the National Assembly on policies and laws related to workers and trade union activities, especially legal regulations on social insurance, health insurance, and the Trade Union Law; proposed ideas and solutions to promote socio-economic development, contributing to improving people's lives and realizing the aspiration for a prosperous and happy nation. Within the framework of the conferences, delegates directly visited and gave gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

6. Publishing the book "History of the workers' and civil servants' movement and trade union activities in Nghe An province, Volume V", period 2006 - 2023".

This is a meaningful project on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. After 9 months of implementation, with the participation of teams of experts, historians and comments from comrades who are leaders of provincial trade unions of different periods, organizing 3 seminars, by December 2024 the project was completed and released. The project focuses on realistically recreating the activities of the workers, civil servants, laborers' movement and the leadership of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation in the period 2006 - 2023. Thereby, contributing to motivating the team of cadres, union members, and workers in the Trade Union organization to promote the achievements, overcome difficulties, promote the innovation process, successfully carry out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, build Nghe An province to develop more and more, for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization.

The flag-saluting and national anthem singing activities were focused on and directed by the Provincial Labor Federation to be carried out simultaneously on the occasion of Workers' Month, to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, and the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. The grassroots trade unions of the enterprise sector, especially FDI enterprises in the whole province, simultaneously organized the flag-saluting and national anthem singing ceremonies every Monday morning..

The activity attracted the attention of more than 20 newspapers in and outside the locality, and the information was spread across social networking sites. Because this is a new activity, of great political significance, first implemented in Nghe An province in particular, and the whole country in general. The festival has created a strong attraction and widespread influence on a large number of union members, workers, and people in the area, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere.

In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor always paid attention to foreign affairs activities. During the year, a working delegation was organized to visit and work at the Gyeonggi Provincial Federation of Labor, Korea; and to welcome and work with the Xieng Khouang Provincial Federation of Labor, Lao People's Democratic Republic. Thereby, the solidarity, friendship, experience sharing, and coordination between Nghe An Trade Union and trade unions of neighboring provinces were increasingly strengthened.

The whole province inspected the management, use of finance, assets and economic activities of the trade union 2,999 times. The implementation of the Charter was inspected 2,713 times. Through the inspection, it has actively contributed to strengthening the role and responsibility of trade unions at all levels in deploying, directing, inspecting and evaluating the implementation of the program of activities, implementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the collection, expenditure and management of trade union finances according to regulations.

Trade unions at all levels have closely followed specific regulations to implement, and the organization of revenue collection and distribution has been strictly implemented.
