10 strong teams participate in the 2022 Military Open Cup Volleyball Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 20, at Military Zone 4 Gymnasium, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Open Army Cup Volleyball Tournament took place.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 4; Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Political Commissar of Military Region 4; representatives of the Military Training Department (General Staff - Ministry of National Defense), General Department of Sports and Physical Training and Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

The Army Open Volleyball Cup is an annual tournament organized by the Ministry of National Defense, with the aim of evaluating the training of strong national volleyball teams, creating conditions for athletes to compete, exchange, rub shoulders, improve their professional skills, train their spirit, mentality and especially accumulate experience to prepare for the 9th National Sports Festival taking place in December this year.

The 2022 Military Volleyball Cup Open Tournament kicked off from September 20-26 at Military Zone 4 Gymnasium, Vinh City, Nghe An Province with the participation of 5 men's teams (Army, THo Chi Minh City, Sanest Khanh Hoa, Trang An Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh) and 5 women's teams (Army team, Quang Ninh Coal, Duc Giang Chemicals - Hanoi, Ha Phu Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh Doveco).

The teams will compete in a round robin, then the two teams with the best records will enter the final match to compete for the Championship.

After the opening ceremony, two matches took place: Army Women's Team - Than Quang Ninh Women's Team and Army Men's Team - Ha Tinh Men's Team.
