Accordingly, iSeeCars surveyed more than 260 million cars in the US market sold between 2012 and 2022 to come up with the percentage of chances for each model to run well after more than 400,000 km. iSeeCars built a model, using the average expected odometer reading (ODO) for each year of the product's life. Mr. Karl Brauer - Analyst of iSeeCars said:"Vehicle lifespans continue to increase. For most of the automobile's history, 100,000 miles (approximately 100,000 km) was considered the maximum usable lifespan. Over the past 30 years, we've seen an increasing number of cars reach more than 200,000 miles (approximately 321,868 km), and in our 10th Longest-Lasting Vehicles Study, we've expanded our analysis to predict which vehicles are likely to reach 250,000 miles.".
