10 teenagers suspected of raping girl

Seeing that the girl they had just met online was quite pretty, a group of teenagers in Ninh Thuan allegedly lured her to drink and then harmed her.

On October 7, 10 teenagers aged 13-16 were brought in by Ninh Hai District Police (Ninh Thuan) to investigate a suspected child rape case.

According to initial investigation, Nhon (16 years old) was hanging out with 9 friends at the coastal embankment of Nhon Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, on the evening of September 30. A while later, they called their 14-year-old girlfriend, whom they had just met on social media, to come over for a drink.

Late at night, the girl came back but ran out of gas after about 100 meters. Seeing the pretty girl and no one around, Nhon had a dark idea.

The group of teenagers are said to have run over, covered her head with a coat, and sexually assaulted her. After committing the crime, they left the scene.

A few days later, the victim's family reported the incident to the police.
