100 Nghe An candidates participate in the contest 'Provincial-level excellent star in charge' for the 2023-2024 school year
(Baonghean.vn) - Participating in this provincial-level Excellent Team Leader competition are 100 candidates who are excellent leaders from 20 districts, cities and towns. The candidates went through 3 intense rounds to select the most outstanding candidates.
On the morning of May 4, at the Youth Activity Center of Nghe An province (Cua Lo town), the Provincial Youth Union organized the Provincial Star Leadership Competition for the 2023-2024 school year.
This is a practical activity towards the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2024).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Tran Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest affirmed that over the past time, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Council have always paid special attention to the team of child stars, in charge of child stars through organizing programs, activities, and skill training classes.
In particular, the Excellent Star Leader Competition is considered a useful playground for team members to have the opportunity to experience, practice and develop skills in the work of leading the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team.
This year, the Provincial Youth Union Council has organized the Provincial Star Leader Competition with the desire to foster and improve the skills of Youth Union activities, creating conditions for teenagers and children to learn, consolidate knowledge, improve professional skills and practice Youth Union work skills.
Through the competitions, students will be able to demonstrate their mettle and ability to respond and manage as star leaders, creating an atmosphere of competition, exchange, learning and sharing of experiences among star leaders throughout the province.
At the same time, the activity aims to commend and honor the excellent star leaders and accurately assess their capacity and expertise, promptly supplement and train the excellent star leaders, contributing to improving the quality of the Team's work and the children's movement in the whole province in the coming time.
Participating in this provincial-level Excellent Team Leader competition are 100 candidates who are excellent star leaders from 20 districts, cities and towns. The candidates will go through 3 competitions including: "In charge of wise stars", "In charge of disciplined stars" and "In charge of talented stars".
Candidates participating in the Contest and achieving 80 - 100 points will be certified as excellent star leaders of Nghe An province for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Candidates with high results will be awarded prizes and certificates by the Contest Organizing Committee.
The contest takes place on May 4 and 5, 2024.
