102 press agencies registered to work at the 14th National Party Congress

Information at the meeting said: The Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress issued a decision to establish the Press Center at the Congress. The Central Propaganda and Education Commission issued documents on the organization and operation of the Press Center for the 14th National Party Congress as well as regulations on the center's operations. These documents are the important basis and foundation for organizing and operating the Press Center for the 14th National Party Congress effectively and uniformly, meeting the requirements and tasks set forth.

Along with that, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission presides over the development of conditions, standards, and criteria for reporters, editors, and technicians participating in reporting at the Press Center; sends documents requesting press agencies to send staff to participate in the Press Center; and at the same time, requests press agency leaders to thoroughly understand and disseminate the Press Center's operating regulations to staff, reporters, and editors participating in reporting at the 14th Congress.

As of November 10, 102 central and local press and radio agencies had registered to issue press work cards at the Congress for 559 reporters, editors, and technicians. Of these, Vietnam Television had 166 people, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) had 81 people, Voice of Vietnam had 49 people, and Nhan Dan Newspaper had 20 people.

Implementing the direction of the Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to plan the composition, number of invitations, plans to welcome, guide and manage foreign reporters to cover the 14th National Party Congress.

At the meeting, Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency Nguyen Thi Su said that VNA has launched a special page on the 14th National Party Congress (at https://daihoidang.vn) in 6 languages: Vietnamese, English, French, Russian, Spanish, Chinese; currently updated data of 150 organizations and 1,200 personnel. At the same time, it is expected to open a special page on the Vietnamplus e-newspaper to combine multimedia.

With the task of providing official photos at the Congress, VNA plans to organize photography of the Congress, take portraits of leaders, the First Session of the Central Executive Committee Conference and portraits of Party Central Committee members, and official meetings to provide to press agencies.

According to Deputy General Director Nguyen Thi Su, after completing the plan to exhibit photos on 40 years of Renovation; publishing the book on 100 years of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press, VNA is preparing to launch a book on 80 years of the National Assembly and is continuing to complete a number of photo books, including the photo book on Vietnam's 40 years of Renovation and will participate in the book exhibition plan according to the plan of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission. VNA also plans to improve the quality of the content of the news at the Congress, with a daily news bulletin "World opinion on Vietnam".

At the meeting, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Lai Xuan Mon highly appreciated the efforts of the leaders and members of the Congress Press Center; relevant agencies and units in the preparation work for the organization to serve the 14th National Party Congress, especially the contents in the work of directing, orienting, guiding information and propaganda in the press about the Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress; the work of reviewing and compiling a list of domestic and international reporters registered to report on the Congress; the preparation of plans to display books and newspapers and the work of preparing conditions to ensure technical facilities, technological infrastructure and finance to serve information, propaganda and reporting activities about the 14th National Party Congress.

The 14th National Party Congress is expected to take place in mid-January 2026, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon emphasized, this is a political event of special importance to the Party and the country. Therefore, the information and propaganda work on the Congress; the organization and operation of the 14th National Party Congress Press Center need to be carefully, thoughtfully, methodically, scientifically prepared, closely coordinated, unified with a high sense of responsibility, implemented resolutely and effectively, creating a strong spread throughout society, to all cadres, party members and people.

The time from now until the Congress is not long, to effectively carry out this very important task, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon requested the leaders, members of the Congress Press Center, leaders of relevant units to make greater efforts, stronger determination, and urgently implement a number of contents. In particular, closely follow the Guidelines on press propaganda for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th Congress of the Party; the policies, viewpoints, and tasks of the Central Committee on organizing the 14th Congress to direct press agencies to develop plans, programs, open special pages, columns, topics, create event streams, open peak periods, focus on in-depth, prominent propaganda, on schedule, and in line with the stature of the 14th Congress.

“Key press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, Communist Magazine, Government Electronic Information Portal, People's Representative Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, People's Police Newspaper; local newspapers and radio and television must take the lead in leading and orienting public opinion on the 14th National Party Congress to create high unity, great consensus, trust and expectations of cadres, party members and people for the leadership of the Party and the development of the country,” Mr. Lai Xuan Mon suggested.
