11 department leaders directly explained at the discussion session of the 7th Session, People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVIII.

At the 7th Session, through discussions in 4 groups and discussions in the hall, 31 delegates spoke with 69 opinions. The basic opinions highly agreed with the preparation work for the session, the results in the activities of the Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council committees; the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors in implementing the tasks of the first 6 months of the year as well as proposing solutions to complete the tasks of the last 6 months of the year, as well as the whole year of 2022. The delegates participated in discussing the draft resolutions submitted to the 7th Session.

At the discussion session, 11 directors and deputy directors of provincial departments, branches and sectors explained and discussed issues of interest to delegates in areas such as: removing existing problems and obstacles for suspended projects and proposing solutions to improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI); arranging surplus facilities after merging commune-level administrative units and merging blocks, hamlets, villages and hamlets.

Handling illegal mineral exploitation; slow issuance of land use right certificates; administrative reform work associated with inspection of compliance with discipline and administrative discipline; arrangement and handling of redundant commune-level officials and civil servants; the situation of clean water supply in Vinh city has not been guaranteed in the past; bidding and procurement of medicine, medical supplies and equipment; handling of overloaded and oversized vehicles...

On behalf of the meeting chair, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nam Dinh respectfully thanked the delegates for their responsible and quality participation.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council proposed: After the discussion session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees shall preside over and coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and the presiding agencies to draft the contents to be submitted to the session after receiving the delegates' opinions, promptly complete them and send them back to the delegates, especially the draft resolutions, for discussion and voting in the working session on the morning of July 14.

This afternoon, the 7th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council will hold a question and answer session on 2 contents: Results of the implementation of Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2022 of the Government on the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and the implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and social security work; work of establishing and managing construction planning and construction order.
