12 Nghe An students received Hoa Trang Nguyen awards
(Baonghean.vn) - The Hoa Trang Nguyen Award Council has just announced the results of the Hoa Trang Nguyen Award 2016. Accordingly, this year, Nghe An has 12 students being awarded.
Among the 12 students awarded, 7 are students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted who won first prize at the National Excellent Student Competition in the 2015-2016 school year.
They are Phan Duy Phuc (Math), Mai Tung Duong, Nguyen Dinh Quang (Physics), Bui Lam Duong (Chemistry), Ha Huyen Trang, Phan Le Quynh Trang (Geography), Nguyen Phan Huyen Anh (History).

In addition, the award list also includes 5 students with the highest total graduation scores in the National High School Exam in the 2015-2016 school year.
Specifically, 2 students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted are Tran Vo Huyen Trang and Ho Thi Khanh Linh; 1 student from Dien Chau 2 High School is Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong; the remaining 2 students are both students from Do Luong 1 High School: Nguyen Thi Thuc Uyen and Thai Nguyen Khanh Linh.
The Hoa Trang Nguyen Award is held annually by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges and Tan Tao Group since 2008. Thereby, it aims to honor students who have achieved high results in International, Regional and National Excellent Student Competitions, and students who have achieved high results in National High School Graduation Exams. This year, the award was presented on the evening of October 16 in Hanoi. |
