130 outstanding teenagers and children attend the Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in Nghe An province

On the afternoon of July 11, at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan District), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Young Pioneer Council of Nghe An Province held the Opening Ceremony of the 12th Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2020.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Young Pioneer Council; together with representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and accompanying units.

The title of Uncle Ho's Good Children is the pride of every young team member, becoming the goal of each generation of young people. Over the years, under the leadership of Party committees and authorities at all levels, and the care of families and society, Nghe An children have always promoted the tradition of their heroic Soviet homeland to actively strive to study, practice, and effectively participate in movements and activities organized by the Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels.

From these movements, many typical examples of children have emerged in all fields, especially those typical in implementing the movement "Nghe An children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings".

The 12th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Nghe An province in 2020 was held to honor 130 exemplary Uncle Ho's Good Children delegates, representing more than 450,000 team members, teenagers and children in the whole province.

This is also an opportunity for students to meet, exchange, and present to beloved Uncle Ho, their parents, and teachers the results and achievements they have achieved in their learning and training journey. Thereby, creating motivation and encouragement for students to continue to try, strive to excel in their studies and training to be worthy of the title "Good children of Uncle Ho", and become the core nucleus in activities at schools and localities, contributing to the development of the Young Pioneers' work and the children's movement of the province.

After the opening ceremony at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, 130 delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Nghe An province left for Hanoi. Within the framework of the congress, from July 12-13, the children will offer flowers and report their achievements to Uncle Ho at Ba Dinh Square; visit the Children's Newspaper office; the State Audit office building; interact with children in the capital and especially meet comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President.

130 teenagers and children who received the title of Good Children of Uncle Ho in Nghe An province for the 12th time in 2020 are typical individuals with many outstanding achievements in studying, training and participating in Team activities from 21 districts, cities and towns in the province.

Among the 130 delegates, there are 19 ethnic minorities: O Du, H'Mong, Kho Mu, Tho and Thai.

Regarding outstanding achievements, 13 students achieved the title of national excellent students; 21 students achieved the title of provincial excellent students; 76 students achieved the title of district excellent students; 49 students were team leaders, many of them were poor students who overcame difficulties...
