136 Nghe An students receive Soshi Japan scholarships

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 10, in Vinh City, Soshi Education Group coordinated with Nghe An Department of Education and Training to organize the 2016 Soshi Japan Scholarship Award Ceremony.

Also attending were leaders of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Police and nearly 500 students and teachers from high schools located in the province.

Soshi Scholarship has been implemented by Soshi Education Group since 2014. This is a scholarship for students studying at International Pacific University IPU (Japan) with scholarship levels of 30%, 50% and 100%.

The condition to receive the scholarship is that students must have an annual GPA of 6.5 or higher and pass a 90-minute written test including a math test, a foreign language test, and an essay (in English, Japanese, or Vietnamese).

In Nghe An, after three years of implementation, this exam has attracted nearly 1,000 students to participate and the number of successful students is increasing day by day. In 2016 alone, along with 812 other students nationwide, 136 Nghe An students were admitted and received scholarships.

Of which, there is 1 type A scholarship (100% tuition) for Nguyen Le Thao Linh, Vinh University, 44 students received type C scholarships (50% tuition) and 91 students received type C scholarships (30% tuition). The total value of scholarships in Nghe An is more than 31 billion VND.

In the coming time, in addition to the scholarship program for students studying at Pacific International University, Soshi Group will promote Japanese language training projects in high schools, cultural exchange programs for middle and high school students and teacher training projects.
