These 143 exempted candidates participated in the selection exam for the 2015 international Olympiad teams in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Informatics.

According to this list, Hanoi City has 32 students exempted from the exam, coming from the specialized high school of the University of Science - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; the specialized high school of Hanoi Pedagogical University, Hanoi - Amsterdam Specialized High School and Chu Van An High School.
