(Baonghean.vn) - On September 15th, showers occurred over a wide area in Nghe An, mainly in the lowland districts.

According to the 7:00 AM report on September 15th from the North Central Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station, satellite cloud imagery and the Vinh weather radar show that convective clouds are developing over the North Central region and are causing heavy rain showers. The maximum radio reflectivity is 39 dBz. The clouds are moving westward at a speed of 5-10 km/h.

Warning: In the coming hours, heavy rain showers will continue in the following districts: Dien Chau, Nghi Loc, Yen Thanh, Do Luong, Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong (Nghe An province); Tinh Gia, Quang Xuong (Thanh Hoa province); Huong Khe, Vu Quang, Huong Son, Can Loc, Duc Tho, Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh province).

Be prepared for strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms; flash floods and landslides, and flooding in low-lying areas.
