16 teams participate in SLNA U10 Football Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 10, at the artificial turf field of Do Luong town, the opening ceremony of the football tournament for gifted classes of SLNA Club took place.

This is the first year that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with Song Lam Nghe An Football Club to organize a playground for children born from 2006 onwards, in order to find future talents for the team.

This year’s tournament includes 16 units that have signed contracts with SLNA Club to train amateur athletes, divided into 2 clusters: Do Luong and Dien Chau. In the Do Luong cluster, there are the following teams: Do Luong, Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan and Tan Ky.

After the qualifying round in each cluster, the top 2 teams will compete with each other to determine the top team in the region (the losing team will win third place). The top teams of the 2 clusters will play the final match at 3:00 p.m. on December 18, 2016 in Dien Chau.

Competition time: In Do Luong from December 9 to December 11, 2016 and in Dien Chau from December 16 to December 18, 2016.

The matches after the opening ceremony were exciting and attractive.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, 4 matches took place with the following results: Do Luong - Nam Dan: 8 - 2; Vinh City - Tan Ky: 2 - 0; Yen Thanh - Hung Nguyen: 2 - 1; Thanh Chuong - Anh Son: 4-2.

On the afternoon of December 10, the following matches will continue: Hung Nguyen - Nam Dan, Anh Son - Tan Ky, Do Luong - Yen Thanh and TP Vinh - Thanh Chuong.
