163 Nghe An students will be honored at the commendation ceremony
On the afternoon of August 12, the Department of Education and Training and related departments and branches held a meeting on organizing the Ceremony to honor students who won international and national prizes and achieved high scores in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.
2024 is the 15th year that Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has organized a ceremony to honor students who won international and national prizes and achieved high scores in the High School Graduation Exam with the aim of honoring and spreading examples of Nghe An students who study well, overcome difficulties and replicate and further promote the emulation movement of good teaching in the whole province.
This year, the commendation ceremony is scheduled to be held on the evening of August 23 at the Provincial Labor Culture House and broadcast live on Nghe An Radio and Television.

In the past time, in order for the commendation ceremony to be organized as planned, the Department of Education and Training has coordinated with relevant departments and branches to implement many contents including reviewing and synthesizing the list of students to be commended, developing a script, making a list of guests, making and approving a detailed plan for the organization.
According to the plan, this year, Nghe An will reward 163 students, including 6 students who won international and regional prizes, 90 students who won prizes at the National Excellent Student Competition, 1 student who won a prize at the "Youth Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style" Contest and 66 students who achieved high scores at the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. Compared to last year, the number of students commended this year is 12 more.

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, the Department of Culture and Sports and a number of related units gave comments on the organization. In particular, attention was paid to the program script, student mobilization, security, safety, copyright, etc.
In order for the commendation ceremony to take place solemnly and meaningfully, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Dao Cong Loi requested that departments, branches and sectors coordinate to carry out tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
