(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 17, Nghe An Provincial Police closed the training course on criminal identification and fingerprint classification for officers working on professional records of the Provincial Police and police of districts, cities and towns.

Attending the closing ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Nhu Hoa, Deputy Director of the Police Records Department - Ministry of Public Security; Colonel Le Khac Thuyet, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments and 86 trainees participating in the training course.

To meet the goals and requirements of the work, the Department of Police Professional Records, Ministry of Public Security, coordinated with the Department of Police Professional Records of Nghe An Province to organize a training course on criminal identification and fingerprint classification for 86 officers and soldiers working on professional records at the Provincial Police and the Police of districts, cities and towns.

Accordingly, the training course helps students gain awareness and understanding of fingerprint science and build a 10-finger fingerprint library; master the morphology of the lines, regulations on the characteristics of the lines. Identify basic types of fingerprints and conditions for distinguishing fingerprints. Theory of fingerprint formula classification according to specialized profession.

During the 15-day training, the trainees were more aware of the purpose, significance and effects of the police professional archive work in the fight against, prevention and control of crime and serving the legitimate needs of organizations and citizens. From there, the importance of fingerprint formula classification and the work of building citizen identification archives and criminal identification archives was clearly identified.

Teachers spent a lot of time practicing classifying fingerprint formulas on fingerprints using new methods, how to write fingerprint formulas on fingerprints and nameplates. At the end of the course, a general test was organized in the form of questions and answers and practical tests. The results showed that 100% of students achieved good and excellent results, including 17 students achieving excellent results.
