Nineteen people dead or missing due to landslide in China.

Currently, rescue efforts are underway to provide temporary shelter for people who have lost their homes due to the natural disaster.

On July 5th, at least nine people died and 10 were missing due to severe landslides and flooding caused by heavy rains and storms in Sichuan province, southwestern China.

Heavy rains, which began on July 4th, have destroyed many roads, significantly impacting traffic and causing local rivers to overflow. Rescue efforts and the search for temporary shelter for those displaced by the disaster are currently underway. One resident said: “The authorities have sent us food, water, and tents. They are also using the school as a temporary shelter for us.”
